About Us
How It All Began...
You know, it's actually quite funny how GiGi and Rho all began After many of our conversations, I would sit and think, "Gosh, this is some pretty funny, crazy, thought-provoking stuff!" So, I would post a few of those conversations on Facebook and the responses were very interesting. What has happened in the time since, GiGi and I have discovered a shared interest; a shared responsibility of sorts, to share with other moms and teen girls our moments and our challenges through our conversations. We began to realize we weren't the only ones facing some of these challenges; not quite knowing how to tackle them. What we realized, however, is that we were being strengthened as individuals, as a mom and a daughter, and as women; one of maturity and one blossoming. This journey has made us stronger, kinder, more thoughtful, and better. Isn't that what life and relationships are all about? Isn't it?
Our Community
It is our hope and goal to create a community where moms and teen/pre-teen girls will feel comfortable sharing their experiences, questions, and comments so that we may all benefit by gaining understanding and giving support where needed. Most of us no longer live in close, tight knit communities. Our communities have expanded far beyond our immediate surroundings. GiGi and Rho strives to be a brick in the path to creating a village where we will feel heard, understood, and supported.
